BLISTER PACKAGING
Blister packaging offers a backing material, normally paperboard with a thermoformed plastic cavity to display products so they are visible to the customer. Normally they have a hang-hole so retail stores can hang them on peg board.

SKIN PACKAGING
Skin packaging uses a transparent plastic film which is placed over the product and vacuum sealed against a backing card or board. It is more economical than blister packaging.

HAND GLUING
Hand Gluing uses a hot glue gun to hand glue corrugated cartons (most common). It is very effective for smaller runs where the machine set-up cost doesn't make sense. It is normally charged as a piece cost which saves the customer quite a bit of money. Hand gluing can also be done with specialty packaging options that a customer might have.

KITTING
Kitting is where a customer has a multiple products that they want bundled together into a single package or carton. It varies quite a bit depending on how many different items go in each package, what type of container they are going into, etc.

ASSEMBLY
Assembly is similar to kitting, however it is more focused on the assembly of items to complete a finished product. A good example of assembly is the Beasy Board. We have the board, the trackguard, pins, seat, glide sheet, etc. to assemble and make a finished product.

LABELING
Labeling is normally the attachment of bar code stickers, printed matter, QRT codes,, logos, etc. that a customer might want added to the packaging.

SORTING
Sorting is when a customer requires sizes to be sorted or color to be sorted, that type of thing.

MAILERS
Mailers are normally used by customers to ship light or small items for cost savings in shipping. They usually are a light cardboard envelope style with a range of sizes. For example, we ship the earplugs in mailers. There are many styles and kinds including poly mailers, which is what we use to make sure products does not get damaged during transit.

BAGGING
Bagging is another form of final packaging product into a sized bag, and depending on the product the strength of the bag and flex of the bag will also determine what is going to be used.

SHIPPING MANAGEMENT & INVENTORY

SHIPPING MANAGEMENT
Every customer will have their own requirements. Do they use Ship Station or some other form of software? How will they get orders to us? What are their requirements for acknowledgement of shipment on a daily basis? Do they ship UPS, Federal Express, USPS, DHL, and/or by truck.
INVENTORY
Depending on the customer, if we are warehousing their inventory we will give them a weekly spreadsheet of their inventory counts per item. If the job is a "one-off" meaning they send product in, we package all of it and ship it all out. We will then count the inventory when it is delivered to us, and once everything is packaged and ready to ship, there should not be a discrepancy in the piece count going back out the door.
